IS IT LOGICAL TO BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE?
How true are the words written in the Bible?
Is there a way to prove its authenticity?
How can we trust the Bible when in fact it is man-made?
Is it merely a product of imagination?
If it is true, why does it contradict the theory of evolution?
These are one of the many questions being raised by most of the people nowadays.
Some people say that religious beliefs are brought about by lack of education. The increasing number of detractors of the Bible are also against its credibility. Therefore many people are starting to lose their faith on the Bible.
I hope that I can help decrease the number of people losing their faith on the Bible by writing a blog about the reasons to believe its credibility. This blog focuses on understanding the Biblical facts that are similar to some of the latest scientific findings. To start our study, let us ask first how true are the words of the Bible?
The Account of Creation.
The first reason to prove its credibility is that the chronological order of the account of creation proved similar to latest scientific discoveries. Although most scientists oppose the Theory of Creation and preferred to believe in The Big Bang Theory and The Theory of Evolution, there are things that scientists cannot disagree of.
- Diversity of galaxies but one unique earth.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

The passage is correct because there are many known universe created(heavens) but one unique planet earth. Although scientist does not accept this wholeheartedly, their findings were stunning.

- The Pangaea Theory
In this theory, Earth was once a whole continent called Pangaea surrounded by an ocean called Panthalassa which was supposedly around 300 million years ago.

Surprisingly, the Bible states it clear in its book "Genesis" written 1513 BC.
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together
unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
-Genesis 1:9 KJV
The highlight of this passage suggests that in the beginning, a large landmass emerged because the verse indicates that the waters was gathered unto one place, which is the ocean.
This passage proved to be similar the the Pangaea Theory.
"About 300 million years ago, Earth didn't have seven continents, but instead one massive supercontinent called Pangaea, which was surrounded by a single ocean called Panthalassa.
The explanation for Pangaea's formation ushered in the modern theory of plate tectonics, which posits that the Earth's outer shell is broken up into several plates that slide over Earth's rocky shell, the mantle."

The bible states the cause of the formation of tectonic plates. These plates moves constantly which causes earthquakes as its side-effects. So how was it formed?
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month,
the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains
of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

The passage depicts a solid foundation of the earth that was broken. From then on, the earth began to divide probably due to a series of earthquakes brought about by the destruction of the earth's foundations and so tectonic plates were formed. To prove this, we continue to quote.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg;
for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

Equivalent to what we now know as the tectonic plates of the earth, they continue to move gradually over time. The Pangaea Theory tells us the same thing about the earth was once a single continent which started to move apart gradually as the tectonic plates moves over time.

The passages suggest that as the earth is gradually being divided, so as the human race began to scatter all over the world. By the time the tectonic plates completely seperated the continents, mankind has already spread out.

Mitochondria is a part of the cell. The offspring's cells have mitochondria which is similar to its mother, therefore making it easier to trace back human ancestors. The research found out a stunning evidence.
"A maternal ancestor to all living humans called mitochondrial Eve likely lived about 200,000 years ago, at roughly the same time anatomically modern humans are believed to have emerged, a new review study confirms."

The Biblical account is amazing and human knowledge cannot just imagine what had transpired in the beginning of the world. Therefore, I conclude that the knowledge in the Bible are far more advanced than any literature of its kind in its time. Moses, being the writer of the book "Genesis", have no access to the records of creation and yet he had written in such a manner far beyond a human being can imagine. To prove this, let me compare it with some of its contemporaries in its time.

Final Analysis
In my opinion, no other ancient book can compare to the level of knowledge and scientific accuracy as the Bible's, considering how its claims aligns with the latest scientific discoveries of our time. These would not be written without the guidance of God. It is not illogical to believe in the Bible after all.
