COMPOSTING

Transform your biodegradable wastes into an organic fertilizer.

These plants are grown from compost-rich soil.

Nowadays, waste management has been a major problem in our society.  almost all the industrialized cities are overburdened by tons & tons of garbage everyday.  dump sites are easily filled-up with wastes.  Other cities pay a lot of money to have their garbage collected and disposed to a dump site.

This problem can be greatly minimized if each individual will take part in proper waste management.   While junk shops do their share in recycling some biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials (plastic, tin cans, metal, paper) still there is a lot of biodegradable materials that are not utilized like vegetable peelings, rotten fruits, etc.)  this still contribute to the ever-growing garbage problem.  this problem can be resolved  if each will take part in recycling biodegradable wastes through composting.

You can just pour your biodegradable wastes on the soil but that is not hygienic since flies that feed on it might spread diseases and bacterias from rotten wastes.

In composting, we mix all biodegradable wastes together in a container.  you can also use an vacant portion of your lot, or you can also dig a hole to serve as your decomposing area.  after all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed, set them aside for 1-3 months.  You will notice  that the mixture will gradually sink as time goes by until the mixture is completely decomposed.  the decomposed material is now a highly nutritious garden soil fit for growing your plants and vegetables.  If you follow this system, you will never have to buy chemical fertilizers anymore.

The buried garbage will decay and decompose into fertile soil good for growing plants.  Mix them with ordinary garden soil or you can just put it just on top of the vegetable's roots for easy absorption.

Composting is a fun and Eco-friendly activity that will not only reduce your wastes but you can also turn it into a profitable hobby especially if you love gardening.
