Starting up a coconut plantation requires a big amount of money to finance its fixed capital(acquisition of farm lot, farming equipments, and storage facility) and its operating expenses.  The demand for coconut products are increasing.  Many of our household products are made up of ingredients from coconut.  One benefit of coconut based products is the health benefits that it provides.  Compared to most synthetic chemicals and substances, coconut extracts and coconut oil have no extremely harmful side-effects in our body.  The people nowadays are aware of the carcinogenic properties of synthetic substances.  These carcinogens can cause cancer to people frequently exposed to these substances.  To prevent cancer, and to help minimize carcinogenic substance,  scientists find other alternatives that are more healthy.  One of them is coconut.
